Gratitude and Anniversary

Grandma and Grandpa’s 60th Anniversary Poem

They travel the wide open
unconfined spirits, unlimited love
prospering from west to east,
with suitcases packed with gratitude.

Their devotion spreads unbounded,
unending, everlasting and dedicated.
A royal legacy sprung forth
from every hug and affection.

Their favor has flown far,
highly anticipated sincerity
in every home, selfless
with every warm smile renewed.

Their sixty years inspired here
this gladness come together
today’s legacy, our united cheer,
always your anniversary impressed.

Nervous Craft

“Im making dream catcher for a fair.
Im nervous about people hating them. Inspire me?”

Some small crafts I love
like the ones that curve
around and around,
like wooden clouds above.

If you would share snares
that snag the harshest dreams,
then surely you can earn
a bushel of special cheer
to take home with care.

Hope

“OK, here you go, cheer up one who is the only support for his family and has done everything he could (giving up his own ambitions) to upbring them (p.s. he has lost his father).”

When life plays a poor hand,
we must use our own hands
to love and build what we must.

When the lost and weary walk,
we all know a taste of their story.
We all wish for less misery,
but the wishing never helps.

Responsibility always wears people
down to dust.
But it’s the smiles
of chirping children
that saves us all,
from everyday life.
